yoga therapy

An mindful movement offering that compliments all other therapeutic interventions.

Yoga therapy adapts the tools of yoga—movement, breath, mindfulness meditation, philosophy, and Ayurveda—to support the unique needs of the individual.

Rooted in the understanding that body and mind are deeply interconnected, it can support emotional regulation, trauma recovery, anxiety, burnout, and a general sense of disconnection from self.

It’s a gentle, collaborative process that can help regulate the nervous system, increase self-awareness, and foster a deeper sense of balance and well-being—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Growing bodies of research in neuroscience and somatic psychology continue to affirm what yogic traditions have long known: that conscious movement, breath, and stillness can reshape how we relate to stress, emotion, and ourselves.

Whether used on its own or alongside another therapy (like psychotherapy, RMT, osteopathy, TCM), yoga therapy offers an embodied path toward self-understanding and well-being—meeting you exactly where you are.

FEE: $100/hour

Special mention of gratitude to my teachers who have shared this sacred tradition with me in the past twenty years, Felicia & Ante (Yoga Therapy Toronto), Susi Hately, Frank Jude Boccio, Michael Stone, Seane Corn, Dr. Ismat Nathani (CAISH Ayurveda), Matthew Remski, and Pat Harada-Linfoot (Octopus Garden Yoga).

Please note: this offering draws on my training as a Yoga-Ayurveda Therapist, not as an Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying); I do not /cannot see psychotherapy clients for yoga therapy, or vice versa, and this service is not covered by insurance. If you are a past or present psychotherapy client interested in this type of work, or if you’re a past or present yoga therapy client looking to work psycho-therapeutically.
